Appeal for information after house broken into in Portlaoise

Gardaí are appealing for information after a house was broken into in Portlaoise.

The incident occurred at Castle Avenue in Kilminchy on Tuesday sometime between 1am and 10am.

Entry was gained after the front door was bashed open and a number of items were taken from the property.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to call Portlaoise Gardaí at 057 86 74100.
