Abbeyleix’s ability to score goals made the difference in the Roinn 3 camogie final as they claimed glory.

Two goals from Finola Kehoe and one from Lucy Conroy helped Abbeyleix to a 3-3 to 0-7 lead at the break. Kara Naughton got Holy Family’s first point while Susie Delaney and Sinead Goode accounted for the rest.

Abbeyleix had wind advantage in the second half and they made it count with Cora Burke finishing with four points and Kaylee O’Keefe and Eimear Kelly also getting goals.

Sinead Goode added a point for Holy Family but Abbeyleix had enough to spare.
