In Pictures: Laois supporters in Tullamore for championship clash

The loyal Laois supporters made the journey to Tullamore yesterday for the latest chapter in the Laois-Kildare rivalry.

Laois were outsiders but travelled with a small degree of optimism. The win over Longford was encouraging and Kildare were down a couple of top forwards.

It turned out to be an utterly disappointing afternoon, Kildare far superior to Laois’s challenge.

In any case our photographer was in O’Connor Park where supporters happily posed to have their picture taken before the game.
