FRIDAY, JANUARY 12

Folk Ensemble

Singers and musicians with strong connections to other nationalities are invited to attend auditions for the Laois International Folk Ensemble (LIFE) in the Dunamaise Arts Centre at 2pm.

Refurbishment of St Fintan’s National School 

Raheen Community Development are holding an information night about the refurbishment of St Fintan’s NS in Eamon A’Chnoic at 9pm.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 13

Junior Chess in Mountmellick 

The next meeting of the Junior Chess club takes place in Mountmellick library at 10.30am to 11.30am.

SVT Sports Hub does Operation Transformation 

The Stradbally, Vicarstown and Timahoe Sports Hub are launching their Operation Transformation 5km walk from the Cosby Estate at 11am.

Registration is at 10.30am with tea and coffee after.

Stradbally Lego Club 

Lego Club is on every Saturday morning in Stradbally library from 10.30am

SUNDAY, JANUARY 14

Slieve Bloom Walks

The 10km (four hour) Two Rivers Walk takes place this weekend. Meeting at Clonaslee Community Centre at 11am.
