Peacefully in the loving company of her family. Rosanna, beloved wife of the late William and dearly loved mum to Rosemary, Daniel, Margaret, Anne-Marie, Jacqueline, Susan, William, Henry, Michael, and Laura. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephew, nieces, relatives and friends.

Removal from Keegan’s Funeral Home to SS Peter and Pauls Church on Sunday to arrive for 12.30 pm Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise. House private. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the Alzeimhers Association of Ireland.

James (Jim) Nash
Clonbrock Hill, Crettyard, Laois / Crettyard, Carlow

Jim Nash, recent resident of Hillview Nursing Home, Carlow, died January 11th 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Son of the late Edward and Mary Nash. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Alice, nephew Luke and his family, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing in R. Healy & Son Funeral Home, Pollerton Castle, Carlow on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning at 11.45am to Newlands Cross Crematorium for Cremation at 1pm.

Margaret (Peggy) Corcoran (née O’Reilly)
Castlecuffe, Clonaslee, Laois / Killorglin, Kerry

Peggy died unexpectedly on January 9th 2018. She is a native of Cromane, Killorglin, Co. Kerry. Peggy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving husband Joe, sons Dermot and Gerard, daughter Siobhan, grandchildren Sean, Eva, Tony, Hayley, Mairead, Rory, Cian and Dara, great-grandchildren Joe, Billy, Tim, Michael and Seamus, brother Michael, sisters Mary and Bridget, daughters-in-law Mary and Brenda, son-in-law Mike, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Thomas (Thossy) Doogue
Garrons, Stradbally, Laois

Thomas better known as (Thossy) Doogue, Garrons, Stradbally, Co. Laois, peacefully in the excellent care of the nurses and staff at The Ballard Nursing Home, Portlaoise. Sadly missed by his brothers, Patsy and Joe, nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at The Presentation Chapel from approx. 3 o’clock. today, Tuesday. Recital of the Rosary on Wednesday night at 8 o’clock. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11 o’clock in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally with interment to follow in Oakvale Cemetery.

John (Jack) Murphy
Greystones, Wicklow / Carlow Town, Carlow / Graiguecullen, Laois

John (Jack) Murphy of Greystones, Co. Wicklow, formerly of Carlow Town and Graiguecullen, Co. Laois, passed away on Saturday, 6th January, 2018 at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin; deeply missed by his loving wife Bridie, daughters Terena and Martina, son Jerry together with their spouses Ryan, Liam and Belinda and his adored grandchildren Cian and Rόisín, Aoife, Tiarnán, Cathal and Gráinne, Holden and Joshua, brother Diarmuid, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday morning, 11th January, from 9.00am to 11.00am followed by removal to Holy Rosary Church, La Touche Road, Greystones arriving for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon followed by burial in Redford Cemetery, Blacklion, Greystones. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Greystones Cancer Support or The Wicklow Hospice Foundation.

Fairways, Abbeyleix, Laois / Portlaoise, Laois

Died suddenly. Deeply regretted by his wife Marta, sons Jakub and Bartek, daughters Weronika and Kasia, mother, brothers, sister Agnieszka, friends and extended family.

Reposing at The Adoration Chapel adjoining the Church of the Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, from 7pm on Thursday with rosary at 8pm. Removal to the Church of the Most Holy Rosary on Friday for 11am Requiem Mass. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
