Two residential Laois farms to go up for public auction in the next month

Two residential Laois farms in Laois will go up for public auction in the next month.

55 acres of land attached to a house in Ballacolla will be auctioned off by William Mansfield and Property Partners in the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel on Friday, May 4.

The holding will be auctioned in one lot. The land is described as being in permanent pastures and laid out in “nice size fields with piped water supply”.

The farm also comes with a range of outbuildings.

Meanwhile, a 46.5 acre farm and house in Aughnacross in Ballinakill will go up for auctionon Friday, May 10, in the Castle Arms Hotel in Durrow.

Gannon Auctioneers are looking after this sale and they describe it as an “excellent roadside holding”.

It will be in offered in four lots of the entire; 36 acres of roadside lands; bungalow residence on circa 5 acres; circa 5 acres.

Elsewhere Connaughton Auctioneers have a 10-acre non-residential holding for sale Ballinree, Barrowhouse. That will go for sale by public auction in the Clanard Court in Athy on Thursday, May 3.

It is described as “good arable land currently in grass” and having “good road frontage with clearly defined boundaries”.
