We visited two hurling strongholds in Laois this week as Ballinakill and The Harps held their annual Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camps.

Here young avid hurling fans plyed their trade and worked on their blocking, tackling and first-touch under the watchful eye of their intercounty mentors.

Credit to their clubs

The large numbers attending both Cúl Camps are a credit to the hard work being done in both The Harps and Ballinakill GAA clubs, as well the primary schools in the area.

Who knows, these youngsters might even make our list of the top young players to watch out for in senior hurling championship in a few years.

The Harps and Ballinakill Cúl Camps focused soley on hurling, but we also visited football Cúl Camps like the one in Stradbally this week.
