‘Bidding to create rounders history’ – The Heath get ready for three All Ireland’s

The Heath senior rounders teams are bidding to create rounders history this weekend as they take part in three All-Ireland finals.

The final takes place this Saturday in Baggotstown and starts at 12pm with the mixed team. Reigning All-Ireland champions The Heath face Glynn/Barntown of Wexford. The Heath are looking to retain their crown after last year’s win against Limekiln. Both teams have been in cracking form all year, they have gone through all the league stages unbeaten.

This promises to be a brilliant final.

The second match of the day is the ladies final at 2pm.

Once again it’s the Heath vs Glynn/Barntown. After a five year absence from the game The Heath are looking to secure their second All-Ireland title. In the way of The Heath are the women from Wexford who themselves are going for their third All-Ireland title in a row.

The last game of the day is the turn of the men at 4pm.

The Heath play Erne Eagles of Cavan. This game has all the ingredients to be one of the best finals in recent years. Earlier in the year Erne Eagles came to The Heath which was a classic where Erne Eagles ran out winners on a scoreline 15-14.

The Heath are looking to record a famous win and secure yet another All Ireland title which it will make it four in a row for the men

The finals are sure to be a great spectacle where the finals will showcase how talented all these rounders players are.
