In Pictures: Hurling skills on show at The Harps and Clough-Ballacolla Cul Camps

Brought to you in association with Expert Laois

This week is the last week of Cul Camps in Laois before children head back to school, but it ended on a high with the Cúl Camps in The Harps and Clough-Ballacolla.

Young GAA fans came in their droves to both Durrow and Ballacolla to get the chance to be taught all the tricks of the trade by their hurling and camogie idols this week.

Laois senior hurlers such as Mark Kavanagh, PJ Scully, Sean Downey were on hand to help the stars of the future hone their skills.

Young camógs also were spoilt for choice, with one of their mentors being Laois senior camogie player Molly O’Connor.

Cúl Camps galore

It has been a busy season of Cul Camp fun, with everywhere from Durrow to Clonaslee and Portlaoise to Rathdowney being covered.

There were record-breaking numbers at many of the camps, particularly the dual-codes camps.
