Laois school applies for extension

St Josephs Girls National School, Mountmellick

A Laois school has applied for planning permission to extend.

They have applied for a single storey extension to the rear of the school consisting of two classrooms and toilets together.

This will see the demolition of the existing single classroom prefab.

It will be all located to the West/Rear of the existing school and all associated site works, at St Joseph’s Girls National School, Davitt Road, Mountmellick.

The planning application must be inspected or purchased at a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of the planning authority during its public opening hours.

A submission or observation in relation to the application may be made to the authority in writing on payment of the prescribed fee within a period of 5 weeks starting on the the date of the receipt by the authority of the application.
