Lyster Lane to be made safer during night time

A call to make Lyster Lane safer after daylight hours has been issued during the latest Portlaoise municipal district meeting.

Councillor Catherine Fitzgerald raised the issue to install public lights in Lyster Lane.

“I don’t think there’s any lights there at all, apart from the ones belonging to local businesses. I would feel very nervous,” said cllr Fitzgerald.
