The death has taken place of Joseph A Murphy in his 95th year, formely the Castle Arms Hotel, Durrow surrounded by his loving wife and family. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife Carmel, sons Tomas, Seosamh, Sean, Oisin (Durrow, Pascal New York, USA), daughters Catriona Kelly (California USA), Carmel Tameifuna (Hong Kong, China), Orla Staines (Dunmore East Co Waterford), sister Agnes (Baby) Conroy, sisters-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, grandnieces, grandnephews and a large circle of friends. Reposing at his residence on Wednesday, 14th November, from 2pm with Rosary at 9pm. Removal Thursday, 15th November, at 7pm arriving at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Durrow for 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday at 11am with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Ita Curtis (née Hyland)
Bennettsbridge, Athy, Kildare/Ballyadams, Laois/Birr, Offaly

(Bennettsbridge, Athy and formerly of Rathgilbert House, Ballyadams, Co. Laois and Derrybeg, Clareen, Birr, Co. Offaly). In the loving care of the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Elizabeth’s Ward, Mater Private Hospital. Predeceased by her loving parents Margaret and John Hyland and sister Anne. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Michael, daughter Marie, brothers Denis, John and Michael, sisters Maureen, Bridie, Eilish and Emelda, son-in-law Niall, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, adored grandchildren Neil-Joseph and Seán-Michael, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at her residence, Bennettsbridge, Athy from 5pm tomorrow, Tuesday, until the conclusion of prayers which begin at 8pm. Removal by Rigney’s Funeral Directors on Wednesday morning to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mas at 11am. Burial afterwards in Seir-Kieran’s Cemetery, Clareen, Birr, arriving for 2pm approx. House private on Wednesday morning please.

Mary Delaney (née Conry)
Derryguile, Mountmellick, Laois/Jenkinstown, Kilkenny

Mary Delaney (née Conry) Derryguile, Mountmellick, Co Laois and formerly Esker Jenkinstown, Co. Kilkenny. Died suddenly, at home. Deeply regretted by her husband Jim, daughter Anna-Marie, sons James, Tom and Pat, daughters-in-law Regina, Sheila and Siobhan, grandchildren Saoirse, Lauren, Criona, Sarah, Emma, Darragh and Aoife, brother Tom, sisters Nora, Gret and Eileen, brothers and sisters-in-law, neices, nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends. Reposing in the home of her daughter Anna Marie in Kyletelisha (R32FY8V) from 2pm Tuesday. Removal at 5.45pm to St Joseph’s Church, arriving at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Joseph’s Cemetery.

Maura Bell (née Graham)
Maryborough Village, Mountrath Rd., Portlaoise, Laois

Bell, 264 Berryridge Ave. Maryborough Village, Mountrath Rd., Portlaoise. Maura, beloved wife of the late Séan and dearly loved mum to Séan, Alan, Sharon, Sadie, and Mark. Deeply regretted by her loving family, brother Tony, daughters-in law, Ann-Marie and Deirdre, son-in-law Richie, Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews. Grandchildren, Aideen, Ava, Conor , Jack, Eoin, Rian , Sean, Rory and Tom. Relatives and friends. Reposing at her residence from 5 pm on Saturday evening with Rosary at 8 pm. Removal on Sunday to arrive at the Church of the Assumption, The Heath for 11 am Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery, Portlaoise.

Rachel, Broomfield, Camira, Rosenallis, Co.Laois, November 6th 2018. Suddenly at her home in Dundrum, Dublin. Beloved youngest daughter of Harry and Verona, much loved sister of Lesley, Stuart, Rebecca, Deborah and David. Sadly missed by her nieces Niamh, Annamay and Ella and nephews, Donnacha and Preston, brother-in-law Nick and sisters-in-law, Marie and Rosie, extended family relatives, wonderful friends and Colleagues. Reposing at her residence in Camira, Rosenallis on Saturday from 5pm until 9pm. Funeral Service on Sunday at 2.30pm in St. John The Baptist Church, Ballyfin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining Church Grounds. House private on Sunday.

Kennedy. Kylebrook, Portlaoise, November 8th 2018. (Following an accident). Peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Adam, dearly loved son to Gerry and Siobhan and loving brother to Jack and Jane. Deeply regretted by his heartbroken parents, grandparents Tom and Betty LaCumber, Michael and Joan Kennedy (Clonmel), uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends. Reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Saturday from 3 pm with Rosary at 5 pm. Reposing privately at home on Sat evening and Sunday morning. Requiem Mass at 2 pm on Sunday in the Church of the Assumption, The Heath. Interment will follow in the adjoining churchyard.

Navan Road, Dublin/Mountmellick, Laois

Assisi House, Navan Road and formerly of Mountmellick, Co Laois. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Assisi House. Sadly missed by her loving niece Phil, Sisters in Religion, extended family, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass on Friday morning at 11.15am in Assisi House Chapel. Funeral thereafter to Dardistown Cemetery.

Taylor (nee Dunne) Ballyfin Rd., Portlaoise. November 7th 2018. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Maura. Dearly loved mother to John and Frank. Cherished grandmother to Alison, Cian, Séan-Luke and the late Claire. Deeply regretted by her loving brother Larry, sisters-in-law Frances and Maureen, her late husband Bobby, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at her son Johns residence at Pallas Big from 5pm on this Wednesday evening with rosary at 9 pm. Removal on Thursday morning to arrive at SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise for 10 am Requiem Mass. Interment will follow in SS Peter and Paul’s Cemetery.

Reposing at St. Mary’s Hospital Oratory, Castleblaney, on Wednesday 7th November from 12 noon until 6pm. Reposing in the Chapel of Adoration adjoining The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, Co. Laois on Thursday 8th November from 6pm with recital of the Rosary at 9pm. Removal to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix, on Friday morning for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
