I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here began in Australia last night as Harry Redknapp and co settled into life in the jungle.

But back on Saturday, the lads and ladies in Graiguecullen packed out their clubhouse for a sell out spin off fundraiser event.

Over 200 tickets sold for Saturday night’s event and the huge crowd thoroughly enjoyed all they witnessed.

The night was highly anticipated as the group of contestants got to acquaint themselves with spiders and snakes to raise much needed funds for their club.

Graiguecullen man Davy O’Neill of Davy’s Pets brought along some furry friends for the occasion to test the nerve of the courageous contestants.

Club PRO Paul Dargan said: “The response from the people to our fundraiser was absolutely brilliant.

“We sold out the clubhouse and I think everyone who was there really enjoyed it.”

Our photographer Julie Anne Miller went along and caught up with the contestants and punters.
