All systems go for Annual Tom Kinsella Memorial Christmas Convoy Road Run

The Annual Tom Kinsella Memorial Christmas Convoy Road Run will once again take place on St. Stephen’s Day December 26 this year.

The run is supporting the Laois Specialist Palliative Care Team which is a very worthy cause.

It is hosted by Ballyroan Vintage Club will start from Ballyroan GAA Club at 12 noon with registration of tractors and other vehicles from 11am.

Another part of the fundraising in memory of Tom where there will be a draw in Whelan’s Bar, Ballyroan at 5pm following the Road Run.

First prize is €500 cash, second prize is a 3 day trip to the Great Dorset Steam Fair, third prize is €200 cash with multiple small prizes for other people who purchased tickets.

This is for a great cause and the tickets are a mere €5 each so we encourage everybody to help the cause.

The Laois Specialist Palliative Care Team provide homecare and support services, assisting people of all ages and from all walks of life in the comfort of their own homes and within their own communities.

These nurses do outstanding work just when families need it and deserve your support.
