Laois woman to appear on Late Late Show alongside Colin Farrell

Emma Fogarty who was the Grand Marshall at the Abbeyleix St Patrick's Day parade this year will appear on tonigt's Late Late Show

A well-known Laois woman will be a guest on tonight’s Late Late Show alongside Hollywood actor Colin Farrell.

Emma Fogarty from Abbeyleix who suffers from a rare and extremely painful skin condition called Epidermolysis Bollosa is an ambassador for the Debra Ireland charity.

Emma raises awareness of the skin condition which sees those who suffer from it experience continuous pain and constant blistering. Thei skin is as fragile as a butterfly’s wing.

Emma announced the news on her Facebook page.

“Here we go. It’s official and the secret is out. I shall be joining Colin Farrell (?) on The Late Late Show sofa tomorrow night to discuss EB and the challenges that come with it.

“It’s slightly ironic, but the butterflies in my stomach haven’t stopped all week ???The excitement is just too much!!! ??”

Other guests this evening include RTE’s Bryan Dobson, comedian Brendan Grace as well as a section on preparing for Christmas dinner.

The Late Late Show will air at 9.35pm on RTE 1.
