Big names to feature as LaoisToday Video Interview series to air over Christmas period

Brought to you in association with Expert Laois

After a very busy year, the team in LaoisToday is winding down for Christmas – but we still have a bit to get through before 2018 is out.

Always looking to bring you the best quality content across a variety of channels, we’re delighted to announce our first ever Christmas Video Interview Series.

Starting on Christmas Day, we’ll be broadcasting a interview with a well-known Laois person or group for seven days running.

The interviews will all be accessible on our site and on our Facebook and YouTube accounts at 8pm every evening.

We have seven interviews in total – ranging from the four members of the McDonald family from Ballyroan that came second in Ireland’s Fittest Family to Laois footballers John O’Loughlin and Ross Munnelly, National Ploughing Association organisers Anna May and Anna Marie McHugh and Gearoidin McEvoy, a leading Yes campaigner in Laois during the abortion referendum this year.

All of the interviews are brought to you in association with Expert Electrical Laois, whose massive clearance sale begins on Friday, December 28.

The interviews are conducted by Steven Miller and Siun Lennon from LaoisToday and were professionally filmed by Gintautis Cepaitis.

The full schedule is as follows:

Tuesday, December 25 – Laois footballers John O’Loughlin and Ross Munnelly
Wednesday, December 26 – Musician Damien Bowe
Thursday, December 27 – McDonald family from Ireland’s Fittest Family
Friday, December 28 – Gearoidin McEvoy, Yes Campaigner from Abortion referendum
