Our guide to what’s on at the weekend

Brought to you by Laois Tourism

After a hectic couple of months in the lead up to Christmas and New Year things are a little quieter this weekend.

It seems to be all about getting out and about for January with lots of walks and outdoor adventures running this weekend.

The new Slieve Bloom walks schedule has been launched for 2019 with at least one walk on in Laois almost every weekend. Their annual membership is just €20 and now would be a great time to sign up.

Operation Transformation walks are happening across the county in four different locations this year so there will be no excuses to stay indoors this weekend.

Sharon Shannon is in Dunamaise Arts Centre this weekend and tickets are limited so book soon.
