St Brigid’s Camogie Club hosted a very successful Family Walk/Run at the weekend.

Over 100 walkers /runners between kids and adults descended on Rathdowney on Sunday afternoon.

One of the main attractions on the day was the ‘Coffee Box’ – manned by Claire Larkin and David Kruse.

This was essentially a cattle trailer converted into a coffee pod and the duo served out hot drinks all day.

Organiser Teresa Bourke said: “I’d just like to thank all who participated, the organisers, the Easy Riders (cycling club) and the Coffee Box.

“This was basically a cattle trailer converted into a coffee pod run by Claire Larkin and David Kruse.

“It was really cool and people were very appreciative of a hot drink.”
