Michelin Chef to open new restaurant locally

A Michelin accredited chef is setting up business locally.

Keith Boyle is opening a new restaurant in Castlecomer this Spring.

The Lady Anne restaurant is located in the Creamery House and will be open four nights a week from Thursday to Sunday.

Chef Boyle has received international acclaim and will run the business with his wife, Carmel.

Keith Boyle previously ran The Baytree Bistro in Waterford, which won the Just Ask Restaurant of the Year 2018.

“Keith’s cooking has great finesse and his menus are a celebration of the best local and Irish foods, with a focus on artisan producers,” head judge Campbell noted.

The Baytree Bistro picked up the title of Best Restaurant in Waterford and Best Chef in Munster at the 2017 Restaurant of Ireland Awards.

It was also named the Best Newcomer Restaurant in 2016.

Both Keith and Carmel have relocated to Castlecomer and renovation works are taking place on the restaurant named after Lady Anne Wandesforde.

Artisan food from local food producers is set to feature on the menu and supporting local business is crucial to both Keith and Carmel.

Gary Davy from the Good Bean Coffee Company is designing an own brand coffee for the restaurant while all the renovation works are being completed by people in the locality.
