Laois community set to become a fashion hotspot in aid of Mary-Claire Knowles fund

There’s set to be serious style in Timahoe later this month as the local community are holding a charity fashion show in aid of Mary Claire Knowles and Timahoe Community Hall.

The style stakes will be high in Timahoe Community Hall on Wednesday, February 27, at 7.45pm.

Doors open at 7.15pm and there’s a great reason to give down early as there will be a cheese and wine reception for the guests on the evening.

Another great reason to get out and support the night is to raise funds for the Mary-Claire Knowles fund.

Little Mary Claire suffers from an extremely rare condition, Dravet’s Syndrome.

Dravet’s Syndrome is characterised by prolonged seizures, sometimes causing developmental delays and can cause an increased risk of sudden unexplained death in epilepsy.

Mary Claire’s life threatening illness has caused her to suffer from over 70 seizures in her short life so far.

The fashion show will feature collections from the top local boutiques for ladies, gents and children.

Special guests, entertainment and a raffle will be held on the night so great ready for a jam-packed evening.

Tickets for the event are €10.
