Spectacular St Fergal’s camogie hoping to build on Leinster success this weekend

What a season it has been for St Fergal’s camogie.

The senior team comprehensively defeated Kilbeggan, Westmeath to make it through to the Leinster final.

Here, managed a magnificent feat of winning the Leinster final against the Kilkenny side of Coláiste Mhuire, Johnstown by 1-5 to 5 points on Saturday, January 19.

A mere week later, the junior panel faced the Loreto, Navan in St Rynagh’s GAA in their Leinster final and recorded another victory on a final scoreline of 3-5 to 4-1.

They managed to record a victory over another Westmeath side, St Finians of Mullingar, to earn their coveted place in the Leinster final.

Mr Fergal Ryan and his mentors have done an immense job so far and their journey certianly isn’t over yet.

Now, the senior camogie team are out in the All-Ireland semi-final in Clarecastle GAA pitch, county Clare against Colaiste Mhuire Ennis on Saturday, January 9 at 12pm.
