Former Christian Brother. Suddenly. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing partner Kathleen, her sons Martin, Kieran & Dermot, their partners Áine, Letitia & Bene, his brothers Paddy & Fr. Joe, his sister Kathleen & his twin sister Eileen, his adored grandchildren Áine, Shane, Sarah, Oscar, Rónan & Eimear, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & friends.

Reposing at his residence from 2pm until 8pm on Tuesday. Removal on Wednesday morning at 9.30 to St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church, arriving for Mass at 10 o’clock. Funeral afterwards to St. Gabriel’s Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Arklow Cancer Support Group, collection boxes provided.

Main Street, Borris-in-Ossory, Laois

Fintan (Finty) Kealy, Main Street, Borris-in-Ossory, Co.Laois. Died 23rd March 2019, (unexpectedly), at the Midlands Regonal Hospital Portlaoise. Beloved husband of Stella, and father of Brendan, Noeleen, Anne Marie, Brian and Catherine, sadly missed by his loving family, much loved grandchidren, Tom, Laura, Iarla, Ruairi, Jack, Maeve, and Fionn, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, sister Maura, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Funeral arrangements will be announced on Monday evening.

Annie Delaney (née Keegan)
Ballygormill, Timahoe, Laois

Annie Delaney (nee Keegan), Ballygormill, Timahoe, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Died the 22nd of March 2019, peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Paddy and never forgotten children Kathleen and Charlie.

Annie will be sadly missed by her loving family, Sheila, Mairead, James, Pat, John, Brendan and Anne Marie, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law Nora and Bernie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her home from 12 noon on Saturday with Rosary at 8pm. Reposing at her home from 12 noon to 4:30pm on Sunday. House strictly private after 4:30pm please. Her remains will arrive at the Church of the Holy Cross, Ratheniska, at 7pm Sunday evening. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am, followed by burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Timahoe.

Patrick (Paddy) Hayden
12 Church Avenue, Stradbally, Laois

Patrick (Paddy) Hayden, Church Avenue, Stradbally, Laois passed away peacefully on 21st March at The Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise in the company of his devoted family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret and daughter Kathleen. Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by his family, daughters, Theresa, Mary and Elizabeth, sons John and Pat, sister Theresa, brother John, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home from 2pm Saturday with recital of the Rosary at 8pm on Sunday night. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in The Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally, followed by interment in Oakvale Cemetery.

House Private on Monday Morning Please.

Laherty (nee Williams) (Whiteswall, Galmoy, Co. Kilkenny E41 K462 and late of Rossmore, Errill, Co. Laois) 22nd March 2019, peacefully, at home in the tender care of her family and her home care team, Clare, predeceased by her dear daughter Anna, beloved wife of Tony and much loved mother of Sinéad, Tim and Sarah, sadly missed by her husband and children, sisters Mary, Ina, Catherine and Margaret, mother-in-law Addie, aunts, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home on Sunday (24th March) from 3 o’clock with Rosary at 7 o’clock. Removal on Monday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Assumption, Galmoy, arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on Monday please. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.
