Portlaoise College holding 80’s night in aid of Parent’s Council

This is set to be great craic.

The Parents Council in Portlaoise College are hosting an 80s night in Humes in Portlaoise on Saturday April 27.

Each year, the parent’s council give a bursary to one Leaving Cert student.

The lucky student can use this money to help towards the costs associated with going to college.

This year they will choose two students who will each be awarded €1,000 with any remaining funds going towards the ongoing fundraising efforts for the new All-Weather pitch.

Tickets are €10 and a great night is planned.

There will be finger food and each person will receive a complimentary ticket on arrival for a great door prize.

There’ll be lots of other prizes on the night and music is by PJ the DJ. Fancy dress is optional.

It promises to be a great night. Tickets can be purchased from the school office or any parents council member.
