In Pictures: The Harps and Camross delight in celebrating Laois Feile successes

Bank Holiday Monday saw two teams go through to the All-Ireland Feile na nGael competition in Cork this coming June.

The Harps qualified in the division one competition, while Camross went though from the division two final.

The clash between The Harps and O’Moores could not have been more anticipated as the last year’s two Feile winners took to the field in Mountrath yesterday.

It was a low-scoring affair, with The Harps putting five points on the board, while O’Moores made valiant efforts but failed to raise the white flag.

Sharpshooter Lisa Kirby slotted over four points from placed balls, while captain Katie Healy added one to last year’s U14 county champions’ tally.

In the division two Feile final, it was a replay of last year’s U14 ‘B’ final clash and as ever, there was little separating these two sides in Mountrath today.

With the wind on their backs Camross came from having no scores in the first half to a well-worked 2-2 in the space of 15 minutes to see them emerge as division 2 victors.
