Beloved wife of Paddy and much loved mother of Martin, Eugene, Dolores, Veronica, Josephine and Patricia. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the family home on Saturday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with rosary recital at 8:00pm. Requiem Mass on Sunday at 12:30pm in SS Peter & Paul’s Church. Interment afterwards in SS Peter & Paul’s Cemetery. House strictly private on Sunday please.

Dympna Kelly (née Ward)
Eden Park, Loughrea, Galway/Mountmellick, Laois

Kelly (nee Ward) Eden Park, Loughrea, Co. Galway & formerly of Mountmellick, Co. Laois. April 25th, 2019 Dympna in the loving care of the staff of Galway Hospice Foundation, surrounded by heartbroken loving family, husband & best friend Brendan (Benny), adoring children Pearse, Cathy, Shannon & Eoin. Deeply regretted by her loving brothers Charlie, Tommy & Mickey, sisters Pat, Margaret, Marie, Joan, Veronica & Lizzie, uncles, aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family, neighbours & her many friends.

Dympna will lie in repose at her residence H62 VF61 on Sunday 28th from 2 o’clock to 6 o’clock. Funeral cortege will arrive to St Brendan’s Cathedral on Monday 29th for Requiem Mass at 12 o’clock followed by burial in Mount-Pleasant Cemetery.

Family flowers only, donations to Galway Hospice Foundation. House private strictly private on Monday morning.

Declan Keenan
Celbridge, Kildare / Portlaoise, Laois

KEENAN, Declan (Celbridge, Co. Kildare and formerly of Portlaoise, Co. Laois) April 24th., 2019 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the staff at The Hermitage Medical Clinic, Lucan. Beloved husband of Anne and much loved father of Mark, David, Rachel and the late Paul; Sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughter, brother Noel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cunninghams Funeral Home, Ardclough Road, Celbridge on Friday evening (April 26th) between 6 o’c and 8 o’c. Removal on Saturday morning (April 27th) to St. Patrick’s Church, Celbridge arriving for Requiem Mass at 11 o’c followed by burial in Donacomper Cemetery, Celbridge. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Oesophageal Cancer Fund.

Deirdre Flanagan (née O’Brien)
Kilbarrack, Dublin / Portlaoise, Laois

FLANAGAN (née O’Brien) Deirdre, 21st April 2019, (Kilbarrack, Dublin and formerly of Portlaoise) suddenly at home. Beloved wife of Thomas (Tom) and cherished mother to Karen, Paul, Niall and Darren. Predeceased by parents Michael & Margaret, sisters Theresa and Sheila, and brother Paddy. Deeply regretted by her loving family, sister Rita, brothers Michael, Noel, Tony, Gerry, Peter, Brendan, Paschal, and Thomas. Sadly missed by grandchildren Laura, Evan, Cian, Cormac, Oisín and Tomás, son-in-law Niall, daughters-in-law Julie, Karen & Karen, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Jennings Funeral Home, Oscar Traynor Road, Coolock on Friday, 26th April, between 2.30pm and 5pm. Removal on Saturday morning, 27th April, to St. Benedict’s Church, Grange Park arriving for 10am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Balgriffin Extension Cemetery.

Tom Ivory
Church St, Ballinakill, Laois

Tom died at his son’s residence in Birmingham, England. Deeply regretted by his son Peter, daughter Julie, brother Paddy, sisters Judy, Mary and Angela, grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

His remains will be reposing at his residence at Church St., Ballinakill from 3pm on Friday. Rosary at 7pm on Friday evening and Removal at 7.45 to St Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill for 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am followed by burial in St Brigid’s Cemetery.

Maureen Murphy (née Lawler)
Glencullen, Dublin / Carlow Town, Carlow / Graiguecullen, Laois

Maureen Murphy (née Lawler) of Glencullen, Co. Dublin and formerly of Brown Street, Carlow, England and Graiguecullen, passed away peacefully on Easter Monday, 22nd April, 2019, in her 97th year, in the excellent care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, beloved wife of the late Patrick; much loved and deeply missed by her daughter Pauline, son-in-law Brian and her extended family and friends.

Sincere thanks to Noeleen and Tom Cahill and their dedicated staff for their exceptional care of Maureen during her stay in Atlanta House Nursing Home.

Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Wednesday evening, 24th April, from 5.00pm to 7.00pm with prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, 25th April at 10.00am in St. Patrick’s Church, Glencullen followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dublin Road, Carlow at 1.00pm approx.
