For this week’s Moment in Time we look back to May 2005 for the late Fr Patrick Kehoe’s Golden Jubilee Celebration.
On this celebratory in May 2005 locals from the community attended mass to celebrate Fr. Kehoe’s Golden Jubilee.
After the Mass on this amazing day everyone was invited to the Parish Hall for a chat, refreshments and entertainment.
An assortment of food and drink donated by local parishioners was laid out and a beautifully decorated cake was also made up for the wonderful occasion.
DJ on the night was Cormac Lally. The entertainment was provided by Ballyroan Brass Band, who played outside the hall to welcome everybody as they arrived.
Laura Kelly provided entertainment for everybody inside with her keyboards.
After the refreshments had been served, Jim Cahill surprised Fr. Kehoe with “This is Your Life”, taking him through some of his earlier years.
He was also shown a video who sadly could not attend the gathering but sent her congratulations. The night overall was brilliant with great music.
Fr.Kehoe passed away in 2015. May he Rest in Peace.
