WATCH: 10 Questions with Aine Moore (Sarsfields)

Saturday 18 and Sunday May 19 marks a huge weekend for the Laois LGFA as 12 teams are out in action across the senior, intermediate and junior division.

Round two of the junior championship features games between Clonaslee St Manman’s and Sarsfields and The Heath versus Killeshin.

Before this, we are featuring quick fire video interviews with a representative from Clonaslee St Manman’s and the Sarsfields junior side.

Sarsfields had a bye in the first round of the junior championship, so their first game of the year will be against Clonaslee St Manman’s.

Representing the Sarsfields junior side at the Laois LGFA championship launch night was last year’s Laois minor player Aine Moore.

Aine features on either the full or half back line for her team, an was involved on the Sarsfields senior team in their league final appearance last week.

Sarsfields reached the junior championship semi-finals last year – with eventual winners St Paul’s defeating them Sarsfields 3-14 to 2-7.

Sarsfields take on Clonaslee St Manman’s  in round two of the junior championship in Clonaslee on Saturday May 18 at 7.15pm.
