We’re back in O’Moore Park tonight as another hectic week of action gets underway.
We had a number of draws in hurling and football over the last two weeks and they will have to be cleared up this week.
Last night, the Mountmellick hurlers advanced to the IHC quarter finals after defeating Ballypickas in their Round 2 replay which sees them drop into the relegation final against Clonad.
We have two senior football replays this week and the first of those is up tonight as Ballyroan-Abbey and Portarlington meet once more.
An Adam Ryan point in the seventh minute of stoppage time rescued Martin Murphy’s Portarlington from defeat last week.
Both teams finished with 14 players and there were some brilliant scores and controversial calls throughout the game, keeping those in a rain-soaked O’Moore Park on the edge of their seats from start to finish.
On Thursday, we will be back in O’Moore Park again as Arles-Kilcruise will meet Ballylinan once more with the loser of that game dropping into a relegation semi final against Crettyard.
Meanwhile, the other remaining replay comes in the JFC as Park-Ratheniska will meet Killeshin on Saturday evening.
The action here gets underway at 8pm and you can follow all of it as it happens below:
