Hugely popular band Transmitter playing big gig in Vicarstown this weekend

The hugely popular Tansmitter band will play a fundraiser gig in Vicarstown this Friday night, September 20, in aid of the local Annanough GAA club.

With over 15 years of experience on the live music circuit, Transmitter are one of Ireland’s most in-demand professional act for the big occasion.

With a powerful and energetic setlist, they mix the biggest anthems of today with classic hits from the past five decades, to create a great live show.

Combine all of this with the top quality sound and lighting show you might expect from a major label act and you begin to  understand what the Transmitter live experience is.

The Band consists of: Stewart Quinn (Vocals, Rhythm Guitar and Keyboard), David Quinn (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Wayne Connaughton (Bass Guitar and Vocals) and Robert Quinn (Drums, Percussion and Vocals).

Transmitter have fast become the go-to act for the big occasion.

In recent years, they have performed at: National Radio Awards, the GAA All Star Awards, the O2 in the Park Festival and at almost every exclusive wedding venue in the country including Adare Manor, Four Seasons, Castle Leslie and the Titanic Centre.

The gig takes place in the Community Centre in Vicarstown and tickets for the event are €20 which are available from the organisers or on the door on the night.

Doors open at 9pm/.
