Alf Harvey provides us with some comedy gold this week as we take a look back on St Joseph’s GAA Club “Rose” competition fundraiser.

The event was held at Fleming’s in Ballylinan just over 11 years ago.

It involved some players and other club members dressing up as ladies in the bid to be crowned the Rose.

There was certainly no holding back as all the lads had their makeup, their dress and their hair looking good for the big night.
