Laois was among eight counties that had premises raided by members of the Criminal Assets Bureau today.
Its part of an Garda operation against an organised crime group in the region.
Six cars and almost €20,000 in cash was seized along with watches, designer clothing, mobile phones and drugs.
Laois was targeted along with Longford, Offaly, Westmeath, Tipperary, Cavan, Roscommon and Dublin.
A man in his twenties was arrested and is being held at Longford Garda station.
Gardai say: “A number of veichles were seized along with fake euro notes, rolex watches, designer clothing, mobile phones and drugs parapernalia.
“A total of twenty one searches were conducted across eight counties.
“Five residential premises and sixteen business premises were targeted.”
The following items have been seized: 6 motor vehicles, 191 Ford Focus, 181 Ford Focus (2), 181 Ford Ranger, 161 Ford Focus (2), TuffMac car trailer, Car towing dolly, 3 Rolex watches, Designer Handbags, 18,600 Euros cash, Fake 20 euro notes, Financial documents, Computers and mobile phones and Drugs paraphernalia.
