Table quiz in Ballyfin to be held in support of three-year-old Cian who wishes to walk

A table quiz is being held in the Deadmans Inn, Ballyfin on Friday January 24 at 8.30pm.

The table quiz is being organised by Ballyfin Vintage & Veteran Club. An entry fee of €40 applies for a table of 4 or €10 per person, with spot prizes on the night.

The proceeds are in support of ‘Cian’s mission to walk’.

Cian O’Donovan is a three year old boy with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy. He is currently in a wheelchair.

Cian needs to get access to therapy, equipment and possibly surgery to help him fulfill his mission to be independent and walk.

At present Cian is attending therapy at a cost of approx €5,000 a year.

When his muscles and core stability become strong enough, he will be deemed a candidate for surgery in America (cost of approx. €100,000).

This ongoing therapy and surgery is a long road for Cian, to reach his goal to walk independently.

Due to the ongoing extensive costs, his family, led by his mam Olivia, have set up a fund ‘Cian’s mission to walk.

His family want to give him the best possible chance of independent living.

This is a cost they just cannot meet themselves. We ask you to please support Cian to walk.
