Delaney Edward (Ted) died peacefully on January 30th 2020 in his 89th year in Portlaoise General Hospital in the company of his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Catherine and son Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving sons Ted, Rory, Billy, Perry, and Larry, daughters Ann, Breda, Frances, Concepta, and Veronica, his sister Kathleen, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Presentation Chapel, Stradbally (R32 WRH9) Friday 31st at 3 o’clock with recital of the Rosary at 8 o’clock Friday evening. Removal by Whelehan’s Funeral Director’s on Saturday to Arrive to Saint Michael’s Church, Timahoe for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Interment to follow in Saint Michael’s Cemetery. Family flowers only. House private at all times please.

Nancy Duggan
Seattle, USA and formerly, Cullohill, Laois

Peacefully in Seattle. Deeply regretted by her brother Martin, sisters Nora (Phelan) and Theresa (Mahony), sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, good neighbours and friends.

A Mass celebrating Nancy’s life will be held in Cullohill this Sunday at 12.00 noon.

Peacefully at the Regional Hospital, Portlaoise. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Eamon, son Ryan, daughter April, sister, brothers, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her residence from 5pm on Friday with prayers at 7pm. Removal to St. Patrick s Church, Ballyroan for 11am. Requiem Mass on Saturday. Cremation afterwards in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 2pm.

Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Kidney Assocation.

Millbrook Manor, Portarlington, Laois / Bluebell, Dublin

Formerly of La Touche Road, Bluebell, Dublin 12. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of the Regional Hospital Portlaoise surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving children Helena, Shane and Jason,husband George, daughter-in-law Nicola, son-in-law Ben, grandchildren Dylan, Nathan, Jake, Alana and Emily, brothers, sisters, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Maher’s Chapel of Rest Portarlington County Laois on Thursday from 6pm with Prayers at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass in Our Lady Of The Wayside, Bluebell, Dublin on Friday at 10am. Funeral afterwards to Palmerstown Cemetery.

Jimmy (James) Kehoe of Killeshin, Carlow, Co. Laois (lifelong member of The Holy Cross Sodality, Killeshin)

passed away peacefully, at his home, on January 28th, 2020, in his 83rd year.

Predeceased by his wife Annie Claire.

He will be sadly missed by his sons Jim (Seamus), Joseph and Martin,

daughters-in-law Edel, Susan and Amelia, grandchildren Joselyn, Sean, Clare, Anna, Luke, April, James, Cormac and Saoirse, sister Ann, brother Joe, sister-in-law Bridie, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends & neighbours.

Reposing at his home (R93 FT99) from 4p.m on Thursday with Prayers at 9p.m. Reposing on Friday from 12 noon with removal at 6.45p.m that evening to The Holy Cross Church, Killeshin, arriving at 7.30p.m. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 12 Noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Parking available at Killeshin Community Center (R93 CX34) and a shuttle bus will operate to Jimmy’s residence every 15 minutes.

John (Jack) Behan
Late of Bellegrove, Ballybrittas, Laois

Peacefully in the loving and tender care of the staff of Oghill Nursing Home Monasterevin. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Nora, daughter Denise, sons John and Mark, brothers, sisters, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and large circle of friends.

Predeceased by his father Billy, mother Pearl and son Dillon. Survived by his wife Mary, his children Shannen, Devin and Mason and brother David. Will be missed greatly by his family and friends.

Reposing in Droimnín Nursing Home from 6pm Wednesday, 29th January, Rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving to St. Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis on Thursday morning for Requiem Mass at 12pm. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery.

Humphries, (née Tierney) Drumcondra, Dublin and late of Abbeyleix, Co. Laois on 27th January 2020 (peacefully) after a short illness at the Mater Hospital, Teresa (Patty) beloved wife of the late Christy and loving mother of Jean, Christopher and Seamus. Very deeply regretted by her loving family, brother Christy, sister Breda, daughter-in-law Linda, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing in the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand on Thursday evening (Jan. 30th) from 5pm until 7pm with family in attendance. Removal on Friday morning (Jan. 31st) to Church of St. Vincent de Paul, Marino for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by funeral to Dardistown Cemetery.

Predeceased by his daughter Maria, his parents Bridget & Laurence, and his siblings. Deeply regretted by his daughters Lillian and Elaine, sister Bridget O’ Rourke-Smith (London), his adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sons-in-law Daragh (Moore), Tadhg (Kirwan), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath (eircode R32 Y661) on Tuesday evening from 6.0’clock, with Rosary at 8.0’clock. Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Fintan’s Church Ballyfin (eircode R32 TD61), arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.0’clock, followed by Burial in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.
