Teachers of Holy Family holding summer camps for children of Laois

The teachers of Holy Family are holding a Summer Camp for the children of Laois. The Camp is independent of the school but will take place in the Holy Family Senior School grounds in Portlaoise.

Camps apply to all school going children of Laois but there are limited places.

The first camp is for 5th and 6th class students and will be held from Monday, June 29, until Friday, July 3.

On Monday and Tuesday of June 29 and 30, the camp will run from 2pm to 6pm and from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of that week.

The second camp for 3rd and 4th class students is from Monday, July 6, until Friday, July 10. For the 3rd and 4th class students, the camp will run from 10am to 2pm.

Note that children who will be in 3rd class in 2020-2021 are eligible to attend. Likewise, students who have just finished 6th class are also able to attend.

The new astro turf pitch at the Holy Family school in Portlaoise

Strict Covid guidelines will apply in all camps in line with Government regulations! There are also outdoor class facilities as well as use of the new astroturf facility at the school. 

The camps are €75 for the 5 days and parents can register by sending their child’s name, class and school to holyfamilyseniorcamps@gmail.com

Laois GAA hurling and football stars will be present at the camp along with Portlaoise Panthers and Portlaoise AFC coaches.
