Sean Bernard Delaney, Dysartbeigh, Mountrath, Co.Laois. Died 26th June 2020, (unexpectedly). Sadly missed by his loving parents Bernadette and Sean, brother Edward, sisters Sinéad and Roisín, grandmother Maureen, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

A private family Funeral Mass will take place in St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath, on Monday morning at 11am, followed by interment in St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath. (Sean’s Funeral Mass will be live steamed on St. Fintan’s Church Mountrath facebook page).

The family would like to thank you for your understanding and support at this difficult time.

Beloved wife of the late Terry. Predeceased by her son and daughter, James and Valarie. Much loved mother of Ann, Pat, Brian, Janet and Susan.

Kathleen (Eenie) Redmond (née Clifford)
Parkview, Portlaoise, Laois

Deeply regretted by her loving family, sons in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters, brother in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass in SS Peter & Paul’s Church on Monday at 12 noon. Interment afterwards in SS Peter & Paul’s Cemetery.

Nuala McNamara (née Deevy)
Ross, Ballyfin, Portlaoise, Laois / Ballyfin, Laois

McNamara (née Deevy) Nuala, Ross, Ballyfin, Portlaoise, Co. Laois, died peacefully, June 25th 2020, in the loving care of the staff at Naas General Hospital. Predeceased by her loving parents William and Margaret, her grandaughter baby Grace. Beloved wife of Dan and devoted mother of Mary, Liam, Marguerite (Cahill, Brosna, Co. Kerry), John (Bodyke, Co. Clare) and Pauline (Cawley, Culleens, Co. Sligo), grandchildren Darragh, Sadhbh and Edward, daughter-in-law Una, sons-in-law John and Eddie, sister-in-law Nora, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick (R32 PC95) on Saturday afternoon. Sympathisers are welcome to file through from 5pm to 8pm while observing social distancing at all times. Nuala’a Requiem Mass will be streamed live on Sunday on Ballyfin Parish Facebook page at 11am.

Sympathisers are welcome outside the church during the Mass and in the precincts of St. Fintan’s Cemetery.

The Requiem Mass will be for immediate family. Dan and family very much appreciate your kind understanding at this difficult time and they will orgainse a Memorial Mass after the pandemic has cleared.

Christina (Chrissy) Madden (née Keyes)
Turfarney, Rathdowney, Laois

Madden (nee Keyes), Turfarney, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. June 24th 2020. Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Christina (Chrissy) predeceased by her husband Paddy and grandson Kieran. Sadly mourned by her family Larry, Mary, Paddy, Anne, Michael, Margaret, Christopher, Sheila and Dermot, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother Sean, sisters-in-law Mary and Noreen, brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions funeral mass will be streamed from the Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney (parishwebsites.ie/rathdowney) on Saturday at 2pm followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery. Family flowers only by request.

Brenda Corcoran (née Drea)
Vicarstown Road, Stradbally, Laois

Brenda Corcoran (Nee Drea) Vicarstown Road, Stradbally, and formerly Inch, Stradbally, passed away Peacefully, on 24th June 2020 at The Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise in the presence of her husband, daughter and close family.

Predeceased by her daughter Yvonne, sister, Maura and her brother Michael. Sadly missed by her husband Ben, daughter Rianne, grandchildren, son-in-law Gavin, sisters Ann and Kathleen, brother John, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and her many friends.

Due to government advice regarding public gatherings a private funeral for Brenda will take place for family members only. We would please ask that everyone abides by current HSE guidelines.
