The GAA have confirmed fixtures and TV details for this weekend’s matches involving Laois teams.
Both the Laois senior hurlers and the senior footballers will have their matches streamed on GAAGO.
While LaoisToday understands that plans are in place through the Camogie Association and LGFA to stream both games involving Laois sides in those competitions too.
The Laois hurlers will face Clare in Round 1 of the All-Ireland Qualifiers on Saturday at 1.15pm in UMPC Nowlan Park in Kilkenny.
On the same day, John Desmond’s Laois Camogie team are in Round 2 of the All-Ireland intermediate championship when they face Down.
That game will be Ashbourne in Meath with a 2pm throw in and it will be streamed by Brian O’Sullivan on the Laois Camogie Facebook page. The winner will qualify for the semi final but the loser is still in it as they will head for the quarter finals.
Then on Sunday, the Laois senior footballers and the Laois Ladies are both set to be in action.
Donie Brennan’s Laois Ladies are up first at 1pm as they will travel to Clonmel to face Clare in Round 2 of the All-Ireland intermediate championship.
After a big win over Sligo yesterday, another win here would eliminate their opponents and set up a winner takes all clash with Kildare in Round 3 for a place in the semi finals.
Then at 1.30pm, Mike Quirke’s Laois footballers are off to Glennon Brothers Pearse Park to take on Longford in the Leinster quarter final.
Their hosts ground out a victory over Louth yesterday but Laois will be hoping to defeat them and reach their third successive Leinster semi final.
