In Pictures: Some great photos from around the county as Laois families celebrate another locked-down St Patrick’s Day

With a bit of luck this will be the last St Patrick’s Day we’ll have to spend locked down with nowhere to go.

But many Laois families again got into the spirit of the day.

From wearing green to having their own mini parades, many children marked our national holiday in their own way.

There may not have been parades to go to watch on TV but that didn’t stop many from enjoying the day in the current circumstances.

We put a shout out for people to send us their photos and they did so in great numbers once again.

And as usual the photos came to us from all over the country, stretching from Vicarstown to Errill and Mountmellick to Ballinakill.

Hopefully by our next St Patrick’s Day we’ll be back able to attend events.

But for now we must continue to hold tight and respect the restrictions

You can check out a selection of photos that were sent to us below.
