Sadness at death of well-known Portlaoise woman Patsy Keating

Patsy Keating RIP

The death has taken place of Patsy Keating (nee Lynch), a well-known and liked Portlaoise woman.

Mrs Keating, who lived in Fieldbrook on the Dublin Road, was a popular staff member in Laois County Council for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband Vinny and sisters Lorna, Maria and Margaret.

Originally from the Market Square, where the family owned Gray’s restaurant where The Pantry is now.

Patsy is deeply regretted by her loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and all her former colleagues in County Hall.

She is reposing at Keegan’s Funeral Home on Monday evening from 7pm to 8pm.

Removal on Tuesday to SS Peter and Paul’s Church for 12 noon requiem Mass. Cremation will follow in Newlands.

Attendees are asked to observer social distancing. Government Covid guidelines are to be adhered to.
