After more than 500 days of shut down, live music finally returned to Laois in the last few weeks.

From August 27 to September 11, Kavanagh’s @ Old Fort Quarter hosted live performances in front of audiences.

This is located in the school yard of Scoil Mhuire just off Main Street in Portlaoise.

On Friday night last, Mack Fleetwood arrived on stage and put in a brilliant performance.

As the title suggests, these are Ireland’s premier tribute to the Supergroup Fleetwood Mac.

The brought those in attendance on a magical musical journey from the Peter Green blues era to the multi-platinum selling Anglo/American band that still tour today.

Dreams, The Chain, Everywhere, Landslide and Go Your Own Way were just some of the hit tacks that were blasted out on the night.

It was a sell out evening too as 200 people danced away in a safe environment.
