Elizabeth (Eilish) Mc Mahon (née Dunne)
Rockbrook, Ballyroan, Laois

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff of St. James’ Hospital Dublin. Predeceased by her husband Laurence and son John. Deeply regretted by her sons Patrick, Tom and Peter, daughter Rita, brother Eddie, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

A private reposal will take place at her son Tom’s residence. Removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyroan for 1pm. Requiem Mass on Friday. Interment afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.

Tony Kennedy
Gort na Noir, Abbeyleix, Laois/Shanahoe, Laois

Tony died at The Regional Hospital Portlaoise after a brief illness. Predeceased by his son Malcolm. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Patty, sons Gregory, Gordon, Derek, Brian and Niall, daughter Jenny, brothers Michael and Ben, sisters Rosie, Pauline and Geraldine, brother in law, sister in law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Abbeyleix on Thursday evening with Rosary at 7.30pm. Removal on Friday to St Brigid’s Church, Shanahoe for Funeral Mass at 3pm. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Abbeyleix. People who wish to sympathise may do so by using the Condolence section below. HSE guidelines to be adhered to.

Peter Coss
Clonad, Portlaoise, Laois

Peter Coss, The Hill, Clonad, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Died September 21st 2021 peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, and much loved by Orlaith, Conor, Maedhbh and Ellen, brothers ,sisters ,nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Michael (Mick) Maher
Ross Cottage, Cullohill, Laois

Peacefully, in the loving care of the doctors and nurses of St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his mother and father, brother John, sisters Kitty Ann and Mary. Sadly missed by his 13 nephews and nieces and his loving and caring neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Phelan’s Funeral Home, Durrow, from 4.00pm on Tuesday evening with Rosary at 7.00pm. Removal to St Tighernach’s Church, Cullohill, on Wednesday morning for Requiem Mass at 12.00 noon. Burial immediately afterwards in Aughmacart Cemetery.

Died peacefully at Droimnin Nursing Home, Laois. Predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret, mother Mary, father John and brother Sean. Deeply regretted by his family, Derek, Eugene, Edel, Melissa, Cyril, granddaughters India, Severine, Pixie, Amelie, Alessia and Ophelia, grandsons Xavier, Jude and Boden brothers and sisters, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing in his home from 5pm Monday. Recital of the rosary at 8pm. Funeral arriving to St Brigid’s Church, Rosenallis on Tuesday for 12 noon Requiem Mass. Burial afterwards to St Brigid’s Cemetery.
