Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to come forward following a burglary in rural Laois recently.
The incident occurred at a house in the Cardtown area of Camross between 8-9.30pm on Monday February 28.
Gardai say: “Portlaoise Garda are investigating a burglary at a house in the Cardtown area of Camross between 8pm to 9.30pm on February 28.
“Any information can be given to Gardai at 05786 74100.”
Meanwhile, Gardai in Portarlington have arrested a man following reports of a burglary last night.
Two robberies are currently being investigated and Gardai say one took place on Station Road.
They said: “Portarlington Garda responded to reports of a burglary at a home on Station Road, Portarlington yesterday evening.
“Two Burglaries are being investigated and 1 male is currently in custody.”
