Local Value Centre manager wins national award

A Laois shop manager has scooped a top award at the prestigious annual ShelfLife Grocery Management Awards.

Keith Browne, 4 Aces, Portlaoise, has been named Cash and Carry Manager of the Year.

One of the most eagerly anticipated events in the Irish retail calendar, the National Grocery Management Awards is Ireland’s premier scheme for recognising and honouring management excellence.

Commenting, Cash & Carry Director, BWG Foods, Vincent Brown congratulated Keith.

He said: “I would like to extend my congratulations to Keith and indeed all the team in 4 Aces Wholesale, Portlaoise on winning this prestigious national title.

“Keith is very deserving of this industry accolade and he and his team are great champions for the Value Centre network.”

To win a Shelflife Management award is a high point in the career of many of Ireland’s best performing managers.

These come from across a variety of categories and at various levels of career progression.

The event is also the principal networking event for managers from across all wholesale brands to gather with colleagues, business partners, suppliers and friends.
