Local school Cistercian College Roscrea has announced that former Tipperary player and coach Tommy Dunne will take over as Head Hurling Coach for the 2023/2024 season.

Dunne will be coaching both Junior and Senior teams at the College.

Tributes were paid to a Laois teenager who tragically passed away in Timahoe yesterday.

15-year-old Ronan McNamara is survived by his parents Paul and Yvonne and his sister Orlaith.
