The Laois Intermediate boys that qualified for the Leinster finals at the South Leinster race in Stradbally. Cian McDonald, Adam Holden (Portlaoise CBS) was eighth, Cathal Connaughton, who represented Ardscoil Na Trionoide Athy but runs for the Vicarstown-based Oughaval AC, was seventh and Eddie Allen from Mountrath CS was ninth.
