Young Portlaoise man to swim for Ireland at European Youth Olympic Festival

Seán Scannell from Portlaoise has been chosen in as part of a team of 12 swimmers to compete for Ireland at the IOC European Youth Olympic Festival in July. Scannell, who is currently preparing to sit his Junior Cert in St Mary’s CBS Portlaoise, gained his seat on the plane to Hungary following an incredible performance…
