Permission sought for new nursing home in Killeshin

A new nursing home is on the cards for Killeshin

Planning permission has been made to build a new nursing home in Killeshin.

Nursing Home Developments Ltd, under the care of Pat Knowles and Assoc, have sought to build the new home.

It is described as a new 60 bed nursing home facility with access via the existing service road off the Killeshin road.

There will also be ancillary site services at Ballykillen in Killeshin.

Elsewhere, a planning application has been brought forward to build 36 new houses in Portlaoise.

Bryan Reilly has applied for full planning permission at Borris Little, Portlaoise in Co Laois.

The build with consist of 36-two-storey dwellings which are split up between different types of houses.

There will be four-bed and three-bed semi-detached dwellings as well as terrace-type houses.
