Peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Michael (Mick) deeply regretted by his sister Katie (Dowling) and his niece Mary (Sadlier), nephews John-Joe and Andrew Dowling, Stephen Delaney and Sean Delaney, sister-in-law Mary Delaney, relatives, neighbours and friends and all at Ealga Lodge Nursing Home, Shinrone.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home on Friday evening from 4pm with rosary at 6.30pm followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rathdowney. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 10.30am followed by burial in Rathdowney local cemetery.

Peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff of the Mater Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Bernadette and loving father of Michael, Mary Noelle (Doyle), Yvonne and Patrick. Sadly missed by his beloved Maeve, brothers Tom and Noel, sister Mary, grandchildren Conor, Ben, Seán, Cian, Gráinne and Finn, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
A celebration of Mike’s life will take place on Tuesday afternoon, Nov 28th, at 2.30pm at Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel, Glasnevin Cemetery, followed by a cremation service. No flowers please. (Former Staff member of The Bridge House, Tullamore). Deeply regretted by her loving parents John Joe & Rose, brothers and sisters Mairead (Tullamore), Joe (Ballyroan), Martina (Roscommon), Celine (Tullamore) and Eugene (Abbeyleix), uncles, aunts, sister-in-law Rosie, nephew and nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends. Reposing in her home in Chancery Park Crescent from 5.30pm on Thursday, Recital of the Rosary at 9 o’clock. Funeral arriving St. Fintan’s Church, Ballyfin on Friday for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass. Verso (nee Kelly) Sycamore Road, Finglas and late of Portnahinch, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, 22th November 2017. Peacefully in Beneavin House Nursing Home. Mary (Cissy), beloved wife to the late Joseph and mother to the late Monica. She will be very sadly missed by her loving daughters Jean and Doreen, sons-in-law Tommy, Jim and Brian, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, brother Jack, nieces, nephews, extended relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing in Massey Brothers Funeral Home tomorrow, Thursday, from 2.00o’c to 6.00o’c. Removal to St. Canice’s Church, Main Street, Finglas on Friday arriving at 9.50o’c for 10.00 o’c Mass followed by Cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only please.

Newman (née Walsh), Conoboro Road, Rathdowney, Co. Laois. November 20th 2017, peacefully at Portlaoise Regional Hospital. Irene (Renee), predeceased by her husband Dave and her daughter Zena. Sadly missed by her daughter Cleo and her son-in-law Peter, grandchildren Lynsey and Stephanie, her sister Evie and her brothers Ken and Reggie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends and all at Kilminchy Nursing Home. Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Rathdowney on Wednesday from 12 noon with prayers at 1pm followed by removal to Killermogh Church for Service of Thanksgiving at 2pm followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard. House private.

Eddie passed away suddenly and unexpectedely at his home. Beloved husband and best friend of his late wife Maisie, also remembering at this time his late brother Mossie. Eddie, beloved father to Adrian, Damien and Edel and proud grandfather to Ciara, Dara, Eoin, Sean, Ciarán and Áron, sadly missed by his son-in-law Stephen, daughter-in-law Alicia, his sister Betty and brothers Martin and Sean, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and a large circle of friends and neighbours. Reposing at his home (Quigley Park) on Tuesday from 2pm with rosary at 8pm and reposing on Wednesday with funeral prayers at 6pm followed by removal at 6:30 to The Church of The Holy Trinity, Rathdowney. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 11am followed by burial in Bealady Cemetery. Family flowers only by request, donations in lieu to Laois Hospice.
