A road on the Laois/Kilkenny border has been closed this morning following a crash.
A crash happened between 10am and 11am on the M8 northbound between Junction 4 Urlingford and Junction 3 Rathdowney in the right lane.
The road has remained closed and there are long delays into Abbeyleix
Local reports have said that emergency services are at the scene and traffic is backed up.
