A number of Laois acts have performed at Electric Picnic this weekend and another is set to take to stage tonight.

On Friday night, Portlaoise native Curtis Walsh performed on the Three Made By Music stage.

Joe S sang on the Hurly Burly stage in the Body & Soul on Friday and Saturday night while a Stradbally native rocked The Hazelwood stage last night.

Alice Laffan performed with Paper Planes in a very intimate gig and the Laois talent will continue this evening.

The Finns will take to Spike Island in the new Freetown area at 6pm this evening for what promises to be a lively performance.

Rathdowney brothers Hugh and Ciaran Finn, who are also in a band called Na Fianna, are involved here and they are a dynamite duo using guitars, banjos, tenor guitars and harmonicas.

They play play alternative indie music with roots in folk tunes that certainly get the crowds going.

This is a gig that should not be missed!
