News of Electric Picnic’s nomination in the European Festival Awards has brought great excitement in Laois today.
The Stradbally festival was nominated for ‘Best Festival’ and from our own experience, we strongly agree.
In order to claim the award, Electric Picnic will need to receive more votes than other nominees including Glastonbury and Lollapalooza.

Electric Picnic is growing from year to year and had truly put both Stradbally and Laois on the map.
Electric Picnic 2019 saw over 300 acts perform across a multitude of stages, with musical highlights over the course of the weekend with almost 60,000 people passing through the gates.
In 2017, Electric Picnic signed a deal for another ten years in Stradbally so we can’t find any complaints on that one.
We may be a bit biased but..Electric Picnic will have our vote. Does it have yours?
